Sonu Cheema

As a Director at Cicero Group Pty Ltd, Sonu has over 10 years’ experience working with public and private companies in Australia and abroad. Roles and responsibilities he conducts include completion and preparation of statutory financial reports, investor relations, initial public offers (IPO), reverse takeovers (RTO), management of capital raising activities and auditor liaison. He is currently a Non-executive Director and Company Secretary for Avira Resources Limited (ASX: AVW) & Technology Metals Australia Limited (ASX: TMT) and serves as Company Secretary for eMetals Limited (ASX: EMT), Yojee Limited (ASX: YOJ), Silver City Minerals Limited (ASX: SCI) and Comet Resources Limited (ASX: CRL).

Sonu has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting at Curtin University and is a CPA member. Having completed the CPA Program, his core competencies and key areas of focus include Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Ethics & Governance. His core strengths include the ability to communicate and complete regulatory & strategic reporting requirements, assist company board and management personnel with implementing strong business structures and controls, sound governance and compliance with reporting requirements. Sonu has valuable experience in assisting management of early stage start-up companies in considering strategic environment and preparing documentation required to support the decision making process.

Senior Financial Accountant
Steve Samuel

Steve joined the Cicero Group in September 2020 as a Senior Financial Accountant. Steve previously worked as an auditor for over 8 years within the big four and mid-tier international accounting firms, providing professional services to a range of clients including listed entities in the ASX, private companies and groups, large multi-national organisations, not-for-profit organisations and indigenous businesses. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

As a Senior Financial Accountant at Cicero, Steve is responsible for preparing both management and ASX regulated financial reports, liaising with the company’s Directors to ensure good corporate governance and compliance practices are maintained and ASX requirements are adhered to.

Senior Office Administrator and Bookkeeper
Jenny Trinne

Ms Jenny Trinne joined the Cicero team in 2019 as our Senior Office Administrator and Bookkeeper. As Cicero's Senior Office Administrator, Ms Trinne is responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate administrative processes put forth by Cicero and its related bodies corporate and as Senior Bookkeeper, she manages the daily financials for Cicero and its clients as well as assisting the Cicero financial team with their corporate financial reporting. 

Ms Trinne is an experienced bookkeeper and administrator with specialist financial accounting skills developed over a 17 year period.  She has extensive consulting experience in a range of industries including mining, transportation and manufacturing and has a detailed understanding of financials for major dealerships.  Ms Trinne has a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and is a Xero certified top private consultant. 

Marketing and Client Relations Officer
Cassandra Kavanagh

Cassandra joined the Cicero team end of 2019 as a Receptionist and now a Marketing and Client Relations Officer. Ms. Kavanagh has previously worked in Sales and office Administration performing various administrative and record keeping tasks. Cassandra has Xero Accounting training and completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and Bachelor of Arts (Social Justice) which she has had the opportunity to gain expertise in professional communications and applying critical thinking for the daily operational needs of Cicero Group and its clientele.
