Director
Sonu Cheema
As a Director at Cicero Group Pty Ltd, Sonu has over 12 years’ experience working with public and private companies in Australia and abroad. Roles and responsibilities he conducts include completion and preparation of statutory financial reports, investor relations, initial public offers (IPO), reverse takeovers (RTO), management of capital raising activities and auditor liaison. He currently serves as a Non-executive Director and Company Secretary for several ASX listed companies within the mineral exploration and technology sectors.
Sonu has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting at Curtin University and is a CPA member. Having completed the CPA Program, his core competencies and key areas of focus include Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Ethics & Governance.
Financial Controller
Steve Samuel
Steve is a Chartered Accountant who joined Cicero Group in September 2020 and has over 10 years’ experience in audit, accounting, and financial reporting in Australia and overseas. His experiences include over 8 years within the big four and mid-tier international accounting firms in Australia. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor within the big four accounting firm and thereafter held a senior finance executive role in a large multinational company in Jakarta, Indonesia.
He currently serves as Company Secretary for Blaze Minerals Limited (ASX: BLZ) and Frugl Group Limited (ASX: FGL).
Senior Office Administrator and Bookkeeper
Jenny Trinne
Ms Jenny Trinne joined the Cicero team in 2019 as our Senior Office Administrator and Bookkeeper. As Cicero’s Senior Office Administrator, Ms Trinne manages several public and private companies and is responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate administrative processes put forth by Cicero and its related body corporate and as Senior Bookkeeper, she manages the daily financials for Cicero and its clients as well as assisting the Cicero financial team with their corporate financial reporting.
Ms Trinne is an experienced bookkeeper and administrator with specialist financial accounting skills and has professional HR and payroll management which she has developed over a 20-year period. She has extensive consulting experience in both Public and Private companies and has a detailed understanding of financials in a range of industries but not limited to including mining, transportation and manufacturing. Ms Trinne has a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and is a Xero certified top private consultant/advisor.
Senior Accountant
Jessica Soto-Kitcher
Jessica joined Cicero Group as an Accountant in May 2022. She has substantial experience in accounting and finance, having previously worked in international accounting firms providing professional services to a range of clients within the mining, farming, manufacturing, non-for-profit and real estate sectors.
Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in 2019, majoring in Accounting and Business Law from Curtin University. Jessica is currently studying towards becoming a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Marketing and Client Relations Officer
Cassandra Kavanagh
Cassandra is a Marketing and Client Relations Officer at Cicero Group. Since working with Cicero Group since 2019. Cassandra has assisted the Cicero Group finance team with daily administrative processes as well as maintaining Cicero’s IT management in consultation with external IT service providers. This includes an integral focus on cyber and data security.
Throughout her time at Cicero Group, Cassandra has had the opportunity to gain further expertise and certifications in MYOB and Xero Accounting software. She has been actively working with both public and private companies in managing their bookkeeping and administration. Furthermore, Cassandra assists Cicero’s clientele within their business and marketing requirements inclusive of website and social media management.
